Fundación Diagrama takes part in the second partner meeting of the MovingON project in Rotterdam

Last spring, the second transnational meeting of partner organisations from Italy, Portugal, Greece, Romania, the Netherlands, and Spain for the European project ‘MovingON: Moving from Conflict to Participation’ took place in Rotterdam (the Netherlands). Fundación Diagrama was present at this meeting, which was dedicated to planning the initiative's activities. The objective of MovingON is to empower young people in conflict with the law and at social risk to become an active part of social life and the decision-making processes that affect their lives.

On 27 and 28 May, Fundación Diagrama participated in the second transnational meeting of partner organisations for the European project ‘MovingON: Moving from Conflict to Participation’, which took place in Rotterdam (the Netherlands). Representatives from the nine partner organisations from Italy, Portugal, Greece, Romania, the Netherlands, and Spain that make up the project took part in this meeting. The objective of MovingON is to empower young people in conflict with the law and at social risk to participate and actively engage in social life and the decision-making processes that affect their own lives.

During the session, representatives from the various partner organisations planned the project activities: the international youth meeting in The Hague (the Netherlands), which took place in June; and the video recordings made by the young participants sharing their experiences and opinions. This content will be recorded using the Video Voice methodology and shared at the project's second international youth meeting, which will take place in Strasbourg (France) in the spring of 2027.

The two Dutch organisations participating in MovingON, Agniese Wijk BV and 180º Foundation, hosted this meeting in Rotterdam. Agniese Wijk BV is a Dutch community-based organisation that promotes self-organisation and co-creation, developing social initiatives specifically for youth at risk by encouraging their leadership and active participation. 180º Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the social situation of young people at risk through training and advisory services, in collaboration with other employment, youth care, education, and justice entities.

The meeting included a visit to the Agniese Wijk BV headquarters to learn about some of their projects related to artistic and musical creation, in which participating young people receive support from professionals in the artistic, musical, and digital fields.
